What a wonderful post. I think we all struggle with trusting God from time to time. I know I do at least. I love the dogie tread mill. I'm gonna have to try that with my dog. :)

Right on, Karen! I was thinking about James this morning when he speaking of making plans (setting goals) and leaving God out of the picture - not necessarily rebelling against Him, just not considering that this might not be what He wants. When our goal is to walk close to Him, how can it fail to be the right one? HE knows the way. We are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. He is permanent, and as we walk with Him we find the source of greatest fulfillment - and strength to do what's best. May He grant your desire as you seek Him.
Psa 27:8. When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, O LORD, I shall seek."
When you think about all the little ways He answers prayer for us along the way, showing us His love and care, could it be that He would deny us what He Himself longs for for us- a close walk with Him? Somehow I don't think so.

Sylvia, I actually ended up trying size 11 and liked it. But I wanted a looser knit look. I am going to post a pic later and then you can see how loose it is.

Have you tried the Lion Brand site for free patterns?

I would also love to make some wool socks. Thanks for the info, strangely, you really have to search for info about crocheted items.
