If you don’t have a blog you can post you entry here in the comment section (down at the bottom of the page) or post it on Face Book as a Note!
Here’s What’s happening …..
In My Kitchen …. yogurt, bread, soaking grains, baked salmon.
With The Children ….. cabin fever has abated. We had a lovely Spring-like day last week and now back to our regularly scheduled winter. Our heads are in school right now so that we can get out by May 28th.
What I’m Reading … just couldn’t go on with the Mitford series. I will no doubt pick it up again, but not soon. Right now I am focused on reading through the Psalms with John Calvin and very busy with Palm Sunday and Easter preparations at Church.
What I Have Been Learning … that I am a selfish person in some areas. That’s a hard lessons to learn. I don’t know what to do about so I have begun to pray that God will change me and conform me to His image in these areas that are so hard to let go of.
What I’ve Been Noticing …. old pictures of children playing in cotton shirts and sandals that promise me ‘spring is on the way!’.
On The Back Burner of My Mind …. starting these seeds and how I am going to rig a few grow lights under a table.
In The Deepest Darkest Recesses …. there are places in me that are totally walled off from all other humans.
Now its your turn ……….. add your blog link to the Mcklinky below, or add your entry to the comments section……….

I wanted to tell you that this is a great idea and I submitted and plan to continue..
I loved the Mitford series though there were times that t\he Father seemed a bit redundant and practical. I think what appealed to me the most was the small town feel. (growing up in NYC will do that!)

Hi Ellen,
I am in the middle of book 3 of the Mitford series. That’s where I left off but I can see me picking it up again. I am reading one right now called The Dark Lantern. Its very well written so far, but I am not far enough in to it to know if I like it.
My list this year includes several books that I know will take me a long time to read, and I figure I need to read those before warm weather gets here. I like lighter reading in the summer so that I can put it down and pick it up easily.
I read your list, I like it! I’ve read many of those books. I will have to set my mental list down sometime this week.
