With my Family … leading teenagers is tough.

What I’m Reading … devotionals and Bible study material

An area where I wish I was stronger … confidence in myself

What I’ve Been Noticing … that the flowers are going on with spring-mode even though the weather says winter.

A character from literature that I would bring to life if I could… Emma from Jane Austen’s book. Wouldn’t she be a hoot?

On The Back Burner of My Mind …. there’s so much that needs working on in me. Where do we start?

In The Deepest Darkest Recesses …. its scary in there this week.

Now its your turn …. click the Mcklinky link below to add the url to your Homekeeper’s Journal post

Can I ever relate to this one!! Especially after yesterday!

  2. Shirley says:

OOPS! This was what I referenced in the earlier comment: On The Back Burner of My Mind …. there’s so much that needs working on in me. Where do we start

  3. PamBJoyMom says:

In My Kitchen …. back from vacation and the last thing to get back to business is the kitchen. Haven’t prepared anything from scratch here since we got back!

With my Family … We bonded last week.

What I’m Reading … I Dared to Call Him Father & the Bible.

An area where I wish I was stronger … calling people and asking for what I need when it’s only for me and not my family.

What I’ve Been Noticing …my yard needs some serious care. Ready for a weekend of warm weather.

A character from literature that I would bring to life if I could… Hans Castorp from The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann. It’s my favorite book, and he seems so lost. What an opportunity to give him direction and friendship!

On The Back Burner of My Mind …. still the patio furniture. Will decide our contributions to the church for the year soon, tithing + building fund+extra, and then see what’s left.

In The Deepest Darkest Recesses …. I thrive on lists and structure, so why I have I avoided them for so long?

  4. Carmela says:

It’s been a scary place this week also. It feels like, “…I opened to my beloved, But my beloved had turned away and had gone! My soul went out to him as he spoke. I searched for him bit I did not find him; I called him but he did not answer me…” Song of Solomon 5:6

I speak of my Savior, I Know he is there and listening, even when I feel him not.

Glad of happier and less stressful times. Such is the ebb and flow…

  5. Tina Lahr says:

In My Kitchen …. Just 2 for dinner, so it’s left over fried chicken and pasta salad.

With my Family … going on vacation next week. Love this time together with the family.

What I’m Reading … still not reading

An area where I wish I was stronger … being postive

What I’ve Been Noticing … how my children make me laugh everyday!

A character from literature that I would bring to life if I could… I too would have to choose a Jane Austin character. I choose Mrs. Bennet. She would be appalled of how some women find husbands these days.

On The Back Burner of My Mind …. getting ready for the family camping trip next week.

In The Deepest Darkest Recesses …. it is always negative there and I want to be more positve.
