Glenys loves to encourage Christian women in their walk as wives, mothers and homemakers. She has a particular empathy for chronically ill women and the struggles they have. Glenys tries to be a Titus 2 woman and believes that the home is the cradle of civilization. Glenys’ Favorite Bible Verse

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, Whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — Meditate on these things.” ~ Philippians 4:8

Usually focusing on the good in things is difficult. As a natural-born melancholic and brought up by the same, I have sought the LORD to overcome this. Gradually, I have succeeded and am now known by my friends and family as an optimist! I praise the LORD for His help in this and I attribute a lot of it to memorising and practising this verse from Philippians 4:8.. It is my life verse!

Glenys’ Hobbies and Interests

Writing, poetry, word games, scrabble, midwifery, doulas, babies, French and Italian, traveling. Blogs on homemaking, cats, knitting, crochet, genealogy, studying theology and following the Duggar family and all things Amish- they fascinate me..

Glenys Absolutely Loves

Being happily married, being a mother and grandmother, being at home, reading quality books, encouraging and helping people and most importantly, being a Child of God.

Glenys Doesn’t Love At All

People who use prayer as a means to gossip, insincerity, infidelity, deceit and lying, judgmental people, abortion, disregard for the elderly, not seeing children as a blessing and being around constantly negative people.
