Elena
Elena has always loved to write. As a girl, she played “secretary”, “restaurant owner” and “teacher”. Her favorite toy as a child was her lime green typewriter that clicked loudly and beautifully every time she punched a key.
Later in life, Elena took classes like Typing, Business Operations, and Keyboarding. In high school, she competed in Typing and Secretarial Skills, and later received a degree and certificates in Medical Secretarial Administration and Medical Transcription. Once she began having children, she worked outside the home less and less.
On July 9, 2008, Elena’s (then) 8-year-old son Cameron was diagnosed with Leukemia. The support team at the children’s hospital suggested Elena start a “Care Page” to keep her extended family updated on Cameron’s health status. Since that day, she has been updating over 250 people on a regular basis about her son.
Elena loves to write and share about her faith in Jesus Christ. She hopes you will find encouragement, unconditional love, blessings and lessons from her writings. She wants you to be inspired to share God’s Word and join her in prayer.

Elena Absolutely Loves
I absolutely LOVE two things. Because we live in New Hampshire and homeschooling is on hold for us right now, I LOVE ’snow days’. The kids get to stay home from school and we snuggle, we bake, we sled, we stay in our jammies as long as we can…..it’s beautiful! The other thing I absolutely LOVE, is going to the beach! I was raised on the Southern Coast of Texas and I LOVE THE BEACH! When I feel the sun on my skin, when I feel the breeze off of the water,…I feel like God is smiling down on me and giving me a big hug.
