Hi Sylvia, I love your newsletter and your blogspot and havent got to check it out in it’s entirety, so I hope my suggestion isn’t already mentioned. I would like to see something about home business, making money at home, etc. I especially love and appreciate your homemaking tips for the handicapped and physically challenged. Bless you !!!!

  4. Krista says:

I would like to see budget friendly recipes and budget friendly tips for the home. Maybe readers writing in with tips like using the box cat litter comes in for magazine holders, or old boots for planters. I love to reuse things to save money and cheap meals that taste good.

  5. Susan says:

I love your articles that give specific directions on how to clean house. Before I found your site, I had no idea what to do at home everyday. I would love to see even more step by step instructions on how to perform the daily tasks of homekeeper. I also love the Bible verses you post-they always seem to arrive at just the right time. :)

  6. Vicky says:

I love your articles! I would love more on gardening and composting.

  7. Linda Hayes says:

I’m basically a from-scratch cook. Lately, I’ve discovered the young women at our church just plain don’t cook. I’d like to see something about beginner steps — even using store-bought mixes to jump start the process.

  8. Carla says:

I would also like to see tips on cooking/baking–especially pastries! Also tips on sewing/quilting. Thanks!

  9. Mandy Gomez says:

    Hello ma’am,

I appreciate a lot of posts you do. But I would appreciate a study on leading souls to Christ: scripture and all it entails. What about weekly devotionals about fully consecrating ones self to the work of god, finding the. Ministry He has for you and learning to hear His voice. To decifer when it’s Him or us.

    Thank you

  10. Carol says:

I would like to have a recipe for yeast rolls that I can freeze for a month or two. I also want to learn cheesemaking but my grandmothers did not do this so I wonder if it is not do-able in the south. They did butter. I also would like to have multiple recipes for the same garden produce- like buckets of squash all at once.

  11. Kathy says:

I LOVE your website – so helpful! I would like to see more about earning money at home. Thanks!

  12. Kj says:

Hello! This is my first time to your site, so I do not think it appropriate for me to suggest anything. However, it is nice to see someone interested in passing on homekeeping skills. I am one of those who have learned a little bit here, a little bit there over the last 30 years. I am interested in not only using natural cleaning “products,” but in making my own. I am also learning/studying to become a Family Herbalist and am a homeschooling mom plus we have a small rural farm. I look forward to learning more through your site.
    Thank you!

  13. Angelia says:

I would be interested in old fashioned recipes, organizing the home, and anything to do with practical ideas for homekeeping:)

  14. Collene says:

Suggestions about incorporating our children into daily cleaning routines would be helpful. How early is the norm?

  15. Sofia says:

I would love to see “Coffee can bread”
and “Homemade coffee substitutes from times of hardship”!! Very interesting.

    • Sylvia says:

The Old Fashioned Recipes eBook is a lot of fun, Sofia. :) There are several coffee substitutes in it that most people have never heard of but are made from readily available foods!

  16. You’ve covered so much already but I would like to see something on decorating on a budget. I do pretty good already but I’m you never know what other good tips are out there.
    You rock Sylvia!

  17. Emily says:

I would like to see posts on sewing for the home. and also re-purposing items in the home for other uses.

  18. Fee says:

Sylvia, I just love this site! It has helped me through difficult times!
It is often hard to work outside the home because the need arises, and yet continue to raise children as a full-time Mommy. Please could we see some items on keeping everything going, as wives, mothers, and homemakers for God.
For me, there aren’t often enough hours in the day, and I would love to see features that would involve Community Members at this site, even sharing their own useful tips for doing it all.
Are there any Titus 2 Ladies out there?

    God bless you Sylvia.

  19. Amy says:

I am new to your site and am excited about learning more. I do not know if you have already done this, but I would love to see examples of schedules for women like me that have to work outside of the home (alot of hours) plus a long commute and still have to clean and cook and have no money to hire out any services. Thank you so much for this website and I look forward to learning more!

    • Sylvia says:

      Hi Amy,
No, I haven’t talked much about that since I have been a stay at home mom for most of the time. However, it is a very important thing to discuss and someone else asked about it too. So, I am thinking about getting some ladies to help me with that article and perhaps we can come up with some great tips and ideas for you!
