The last thing we will be doing in the kitchen is working on the woodwork, windows and tying up any loose ends of cleaning that you missed or extras you would like to do.
Wood work includes baseboards, widow casings, door frames, moldings, bead-board and cabinets. And you thought you weren’t going to have any wood work to clean! Everyone has woodwork.
Depending on what your woodwork is made of there are various ways to clean it. All my woodwork is painted. So I will clean it first by dusting then washing it with warm water and a mild detergent, then I will dry it with a clean cloth.
I clean windows with a sudsy, warm soap solution, then I rinse and use a little squeegie. If you don’t have a squeegie you can get that same crystal clear look by polishing the glass with a wadded up piece of newspaper. If you want to clean the outsides of your windows, go ahead, I won’t stop you.
After I wash the windows, I clean them with my homemade natural window cleaner.
Remember to enter the drawing for the reversible apron and dish towel! I will draw a name on April 24th.
What do you think? Has all the work been worth it? Are you looking forward to cleaning the Living Room? Or dreading it? 😀
Here is a Mcklinky in case you want to show us the sun shining through your clean kitchen windows! Or just give us a look at your clean, organized kitchen!
