Kim, I think that getting older was what finally got my attention and showed me that I needed a day off! I’m so glad you can take a day of rest, we need it, don’t we?

Sundays for me, too. Other than teaching my Sunday School class (which I don’t consider work~ studying was the work!) & getting dinner I try not to do any other work. I do have the occasional Sunday where grocery shopping can’t be avoided, but I’m getting better about that, too.

We rest on Saturdays. It is a lovely time to let go of the work week, rest and refresh for the coming weeks activities.

Sunday is totally the day that I rest. Aside for making meals I don’t do a whole lot else after we get home from church. The older I get the more I realize my need for a day like that.
