Welcome to The Christian Homekeeper. I'm really glad you stopped by. I'm no Bible scholar or anything like that but I do love the Lord and I love His Word. My goal is to offer some words of encouragement and build up your desire to know Him better.
My husband and I were married in 1980 and began our journey together which has included several universities and homes and 5 wonderful children who I have been busy home educating since 1991.
I love to read. I'm working on a book list for my blog right now and hopefully I'll have it up soon. Reading is akin to breathing for me.
Music is a gift from God that I enjoy so much and I love to play it, sing it and listen to it. My flute and piano are constant companions.
With 5 children and a husband you can imagine that I like to cook. I do and I love new recipes and I love to teach old fashioned skills like dehydrating, canning, candle-making and more. I am also a huge proponent of being prepared for emergencies and eventualities both natural and man-made. You can find lots of my radio shows and pod casts on my site where I share information about how to get prepared.
Perhaps more than music, I love to write. And I love bringing new thoughts and ideas to my readers
I've been online since 1996 with first a web site and now a blog. I enjoy hearing from you in the comments and you can find me on Facebook and Twitter as well.
