he Homekeeper’s Journal is a way to keep track of your thoughts, in journal form, online. I have given you the prompts and written my own responses. Since our dear Sylvia is on vacation you can simply add your link in the comments after you complete your journal. A link back here is nice but not required. Its also a great way to get traffic moving to your blog and share your thoughts with others.
Are you ready?? Here goes…
In my yard…This year I have focus my gardens mostly on flowers. I have some banana pepper plants and might put in some cukes yet. I have a few herbs including oregano and mint. I have been digging up new spots for flowers and it has been fun to expand and see what plants I can divide.
On my grill…Today it was hamburgers and hot dogs. Each day it’s various meats but I would really like to start putting the veggies on the grill.
With my children…My son Tyler (17 years old) leaves Sunday morning for a Missions Trip with OnGoal, a soccer outreach ministry. He’ll be serving in the Detroit area. My other 2 children will surely miss him (as will my husband and I) but will keep busy with friends and such.
On my mind…All the errands we need to do to get Tyler ready to leave!
The book of the Bible I keep finding myself turning to lately…Definitely Isaiah!
I am reading…“Breaking Free” by Beth Moore and “Where Do I Go?” by Neta Jackson
I am looking forward to…Seeing family that will soon be coming to visit.

With my children…Trying to relax after VBS. Did a lot of cleaning and organizing today!

I am reading…Fascinating Womanhood (Wonderful book!!!!)
In my yard… it’s a big mess right now because my husband decided to build a roof for the bikes and other stuff laying around.. but it’s been raining all day so I couldn’t clean it up. I would love to grow vegetables and herbs in my garden..
On my grill…we ate pizza today but from the oven as we don’t have a grill.
With my children…I want to be more patient with them and really be a good and loving and caring mom. it’s not that they are extreme naughty I just sometimes feel overwhelmed with everything and I snap at the children (7,4 and 2).
On my mind… I am in desperate need of agood and christian female friend.
