Quick Cookies

Here’s a tip from the upcoming Christmas Planner…  Quick Christmas Cookies.  I made some of these today to take to Church.  For this version of the Quick Christmas Cookies, all you  need is a roll of sugar cookie dough, 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring and some raspberry jam.

Blend the dough with the almond flavoring. Roll out and cut out shapes. Cut a smaller shape out of the center of each of half of the cookies. Bake according to the package directions.

Cool the cookies. Spread 1 teaspoon jam on the solid cookies.  Top with the cookies that had the cut out. Be sure to bake the little cutouts too!  Can’t you just taste that raspberry jam and the crisp almond cookie?
