One Terrific eCourse You Shouldn’t Miss!

I come from a family that has always made everything from scratch. That’s a blessing!  And its not difficult to learn how to cook simple, healthy meals if you have been taught in the kitchen by people who know what they are doing.  But not everyone has that luxury … until now.

The GNOWFGLINS eCourse is almost like having Wardeh right there in your kitchen with you as you learn new techniques and recipes. And if you click on the link above you can buy the eCourse from Wardeh’s site with a portion of the proceeds going to CHK.

The eCourse comes with written lessons plans, recipes and video lessons …. and a private message board where you can talk to Wardeh and other folks who are taking the eCourse.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that there is a movement towards more healthy eating and natural, organic, locally grown foods.  People are beginning to understand that packaged, government subsidized, mass produced food stuffs are laden with pesticides, herbicides, hormones and for the sake of money, have been manipulated until they are no longer nutritious or safe for the human body.

Need convincing?  If you have Netflix, travel on over there and check out a movie called Food, Inc.  Its an intelligent, non-emotional look at how our food is produced today and it will make you think… and give you lots to talk to your family about.

If you’re looking for some reading material, I suggest Sally Fallon’s Nourishing Traditions. With the exception of some of the lesser known grains like spelt and quinoa, Sally Fallon uses ingredients, methods and recipes that I grew up with.  Her book is more than a cookbook, its like a textbook with lots of recipes and techniques.  Some of the techniques in the book are what Wardeh will guide you through in her eCourse.

Here is a list of what methods are covered in the ecourse:

  • Overview: eCourse Overview
  • Lesson 1: The GNOWFGLINS Foundation
  • Lesson 2: How to Soak Whole Grains, Nuts and Seeds
  • Lesson 3: How to Make Soaked Whole-Grain Flour Baked Goods I
  • Lesson 4: How to Make Soaked Whole-Grain Flour Baked Goods II
  • Lesson 5: How to Soak and Cook Dry Beans
  • Lesson 6: How to Sprout Beans
  • Lesson 7: How to Cook a Chicken and Make Chicken Stock
  • Lesson 8: How to Make Skillet Dishes: A Dinner Formula
  • Lesson 9: How to Make Water Kefir
  • Lesson 10: How to Make Dairy Kefir
  • Lesson 11: How to Make Soft, Spreadable Cheese
  • Lesson 12: How to Make Sourdough Bread
  • Lesson 13: How to Sprout Whole Grains for Sprouted Grain Flour & How to Bake With Sprouted Grain Flour
  • Lesson 14: How to Make Natural Pickled Foods

Be sure to take a look at  the video on the right hand side of the main GNOWFGLINS site that tells you what GNOWFGLINS are.

I highly recommend that you take a look at this eCourse even if you can’t see yourself and your family eating a completely GNOWFGLIN diet anytime soon.  The techniques, methods and recipes that Wardeh will share with you will always be valuable and helpful as you make your way to cooking more heathily. Go on over, sign up and use the links on this post because CHK is an affiliate of GNOWFGLINS. We receive a portion of the proceeds when you sign up for her course.
