What’s happening in my home?…………….
In my kitchen… trying to learn how to make pralines. Its more difficult than it sounds. First they were too thin, then too thick…. then I cooked it too long…. sigh…. going to try one more time today.
With our marriage… moving along. Trying to grow older gracefully together is hard work. We’re still hoping to get that Bible study off the ground.
With the children.. I feel a little like Loretta Lynn…. one is giving me fits, one is excelling in school, one needs to be heard , one needs support and one just wants to play dolls.
Around the homestead… the house seems way too dusty so I need to get the bottom of the dust before we seal ourselves in for the winter.
In my “Inner Man”…..God has been so gracious and good to me. He has answered some prayer and allowed me to move ahead at CHK ministering to women. He has brought in more contacts and given me a voice in other venues. I am thanking Him and praising Him!
What is your Inner Man? In 2 Corinthians 4 Paul gives us a clue about what he means when he says “the inner man”. In that scripture he says that “our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day” (4:16 KJV). So for Christians even though there is something about us that is getting old, decaying and deteriorating and dying..there is also something about us that is growing, becoming more alive, richer and stronger every day we live and follow Christ. That is what Paul calls our “inner man.”
