What’s happening in my home?

In My Kitchen: Making yogurt, popcorn popped with red palm oil, beef stew and homemade poptarts.

With Our Marriage: After 29 years, we continue to grow together. You may be hearing more about our plans for a 30th anniversary trip to England in the coming months.

With The Children: Sarah continues to do well at University, the two youngest are enjoying the Fall weather after school. Oldest is being daddy to his little girl and newest little girl and middle son is working working working. I miss seeing him!

Around The Homestead: (Even if you don’t have a farm your domain is your homestead!) I put up a new backsplash the end of last week. It has the appearance of shaped tin in a bronze color. Love it!

In The Garden: The garden is finished for the year. It will soon be time to rake leaves!  I would like to plant some mums next week.

In My Inner Man: Reading in  Romans. Trying to let it sink in me and praying that God will continue to transform me into His image. So thankful that my failures aren’t the end of my life in Him, but that He forgives and keeps on leading me.

I like what you said about you inner man, “So thankful that my failures aren’t the end of my life in Him, but that He forgives and keeps on leading me.” So true it is usually us that think we aren’t worthy of his forgiveness.

As He says in Isaiah, His hands are outstretched still. He loves us and never gives up on us. I am thankful for my understanding of this. I love your blog. Keep up the good work.
    Love,
    Marly
