Homekeeper’s Journal ~ 11/18/09

I’ve added a Mcklinky for you to use to add your entry in the Homekeeper’s Journal. Look at the bottom of this post. Just fill in your name, blog’s name and the url to your Homekeeper’s Journal entry this week.

What’s happening in my home?…………….

In my kitchen… getting the house clean and ready to have company for Thanksgiving!

With our marriage… working on growing as Christians together.

With the children… plugging right along with school and chores, waiting expectantly for vacation week!

Around the homestead… cleaning out those stubborn places that just won’t stay clean, organizing and decluttering as I go.

In my “Inner Man”…..Trying to figure out what it is God wants me to hear through several interesting circumstances…

What is your Inner Man? In 2 Corinthians 4 Paul gives us a clue about what he means when he says “the inner man”. In that scripture he says that “our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day” (4:16 KJV). So for Christians even though there is something about us that is getting old, decaying and deteriorating and dying..there is also something about us that is growing, becoming more alive, richer and stronger every day we live and follow Christ. That is what Paul calls our “inner man.”

Now its your turn……..  let me know what’s in your Homekeeper’s Journal this week…..
