John Wesley Smith joins Sylvia in the first 30 minutes of the show to finish talking about the Essential Items for preparedness list.

During the second half of the show, Sylvia will talk about community and its impact on preparedness, ideas for developing community. why some communities thrive and other fail.

May 3 – This week on The 21st Century Homekeeper, Sylvia welcomes radio host and prepper, John Wesley Smith. John is the host of Destiny Survival where he explores a variety of preparedness and survival topics. He is an expert in teaching others that they can prepare for survival in a rapidly changing world. . He and Sylvia will be discussing a list of Most Essential Survival and Prepping Needs.

April 26 – When Good Food Goes Bad - How to tell when the fresh, canned or preserved food in your frig and cupboard is spoiled. Are you wasting food by throwing it out before its actually “bad”? Sylvia shares some tips and information on knowing when food can be re-purposed or re-worked. The techniques and ideas here are guaranteed to save you money!

April 19 – On Destiny Survival. This week John visits with Sylvia Britton about home schooling. How does it tie into  prepping? Sylvia offers encouragement for you, no matter where you are on the home schooling journey with your family. She’s taught her children at home and is the founder of the Christian Homekeeper Network as well as the host of the 21st Century Homekeeper radio show here on PRN.

April 19 - Join Sylvia and her guest Donna Miller of Miller’s Grain House and Your Preparation Station. Donna and Sylvia will discuss how to choose, store and cook with grains, the best grains to store. Find out what it means to “Prep” and how to prepare without fear.

Cleanliness can keep you alive and keep your  family healthy even in the most dire of situations.  I’ll show you how to cultivate particular habits in how you wash dishes, clothes, your body, take care of all kinds of waste products and show you how to keep your home healthy even if you have no running water or electricity.

April 5 -  Tonight Sylvia’s guest is Ray Gano of the Prophezine Bible Prophecy website and PZ Radio. We’ll be talking about his book, Surviving The Coming Storm.  In this book Ray Gano takes examples from history as well as from a Christian biblical standpoint showing what you can do to prepare. Is your family prepared to Survive The Coming Storm?
