June 6 – Sylvia Britton and guest Dr. Cynthia Koelker discuss wound care where there is no doctor. Beginning with minor wounds, abrasions and lacerations they discuss cleaning, care and suturing. Dr. Koelker explains how to care for more serious wounds, abscesses, burns, tendon wounds, hematomas, crush injuries and a few injuries and infections that we don’t see often today such as gangrene.

The The Ladies of Prepping talk about their early years of prepping, how they started, who was prepping and how it has all changed over the years. March 23 – I will share my family recipes for 12 Herbal Remedies you can prepare at home including Mother’s Milk Tea, Basic First Aid Salve, Migraine Tincture, Burn Ointment, Calendula Lotion, Cold and Flu tincture, Horehound Cough Drops, Sleep Tincture, Conjunctivitis Eye Wash, Herbal Diaper Area Wash and Diaper Wash.

January 26th – Sylvia’s guest is Michael Bunker, Christian Agrarian Separatist living in community and homesteading in central Texas. He is the author of several books including Surviving Off Off-Grid:Decolonizing the Industrial Mind, Modern Religious Idols and the fictional work, The Last Pilgrims, an account of the Vallenses, an Amish-like “plain people” living and surviving in a post-apocalyptic Texas.
His latest work of fiction is W1CK, which is a prequel to The Last Pilgrims. Michael and Sylvia will talk about the book and its importance for preppers and survivalists.Though it is a work of fiction, W1CK is based on historical fact. January 19th – Sylvia and her special guest Shannon Stonger of Nourishing Days Blog will discuss being a wife, mom and off-grid homesteader in central Texas. Shannon will talk about living off-grid with children, gardening in the Texas heat, what led her family to leave Michigan and start homesteading and more. January 12th – Sylvia talks to survival teacher and author Christopher Nyerges about what survival is and is not.
